Our THEATER workshop is innovative. It is based on a dynamic and modern methodology, which individually respects the potential of each student – ​​even within collective activities – and helps to develop the capacity for concentration, memorization, improvisation, creativity, disinhibition, facial and body expression, as well as expressiveness and communication in general. Challenging the stage is the last phase of the process. At the end of each year, everyone participates in a theatrical production adapted to their age group. A rich storehouse of body movements, gestures and feelings that Physical Education needs to discover as a curricular proposal. This type of activity provides the child with a different experience from other physical practices due to the joy and proposed activities that aim to have fun and bring together various motor skills. In addition to the purpose of providing the student with knowledge of circus activities, rescuing their values ​​and bringing to the child the magic and fantasy that are striking characteristics of the circus, it also assists in learning and education, leading the child to be interested in overcoming their limits physical and intellectual, working on discipline, motor coordination and concentration – it also works on the child’s self-esteem, valuing and guiding them in developing their potential and building their skills. Therefore, considering that learning is not restricted to the simple exercise of certain skills and abilities but rather to practical experiences on bodily, intellectual and emotional possibilities, interrelated in all situations, this proposal aims to contribute to psychomotor development of students and, consequently, with the formation of their character and personality, aiming at their effective integration into life in society.
