OUR BUILDING

With a contemporary architecture, our building is sustainable and accessible.

Sustainability:

Wide windows in our classrooms allow for natural lighting and ventilation; doors have glass panels, maximizing transparency and light; our main roof has a rainwater collection system for cleaning and watering plants, cooperating with the impact on our rainwater network.

Accessibility:

All our classrooms are fully accessible by ramps.

CLASSROOMS – ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Our classrooms are spacious, climatized, and with wide windows allowing for great luminosity. In times of Covid 19, cross ventilation helps with air renewal.

Spaces were planned and organized for the viability of many different possibilities and configurations, when working with small groups or circle time, with the whole group working together.

CLASSROOMS – PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION – TODDLERS

The Toddler classrooms contemplate all the needs for that age group. In the classroom we have: pretend play in the house and at the hospital, reading corner, low wall displays, at the little ones’ height, changing diapers corner with warm water, exclusive playground with ball pool, swing, and everything our Toddlers need for interaction, play and being happy.

CLASSROOMS – PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION – TODDLERS

Our Toddler groups count on a specialist teacher in pre-school education, an assistant teacher and a nursery caretaker, apart from additional staff during snack, lunch time, as well as potty training.

CLASSROOMS – PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION – G2, G3, G4 E G5

Our pre-school classes are daily composed of circle time, artistic proposals, games, pretend play, projects and corners (playtime). The diversified activities offered are a model of spatial organization offering many simultaneous possibilities, so that the children may choose where to be and what to do – protagonism allowing for the development of autonomy.

ART ROOM

Our Art room is very structured. You can find low sinks and material which can be easily handled by students. This area can be expanded, depending on the proposal. In such a stimulating environment, creativity is even potentialized…

ACCESSIBILITY BY RAMPS

Ramps interconnect our two buildings, allowing the children to transit around school grounds safely, as well as being fully accessible to all.

GATHERING HALL

 A more than special area for the Elementary school children. Relaxed conversations, partnerships and foosball games are always on the go.

SNACK AND LUNCH ROOM

Our pedagogical project offers the possibility of students having lunch at school. This programme is focused on eating healthily, with balanced menus prepared by Trivial catering. Students have lunch with teachers’ and assistants’ help, in a pleasant, open area. In this area, the children also have snack which they bring from home, always respecting healthy eating principles.

PLAYGROUND

An open air area, where different forms of play are part of the routine. Since an early age, while playing, children get to know their own bodies, the world in which they live and its objects, they imitate adults’ behaviour, elaborate feelings and situations they have experienced. Play is one of the most important means of being in the world and reflecting about it.

TODDLER PLAYGROUND

Adjacent to their classroom, the Toddler playground has a ball pool, a little house, diverse toys (adequate for this specific age group and promoting interaction), book shelves and areas where we daily organize pretend play proposals. Both fun and interaction are guaranteed!
